This afternoon while I was doing laundry Sydney decided to help me. She loves to help whenever she can so she was trying to reach the last few items in the dryer, but they were just a little out of reach. I guess she decided that if she crawled in it would be easier. The look on her face was pure enjoyment. When we finally got her out of it she was so mad at me. The silly part was while she was in there she was talking to the vent saying Daddy and Santa. Who knows what she was doing, but I am sure glad the camera was handy.

Random Pics
Since I have been slacking I thought I would just post a few pics of Sydney for everyone. Over the past few weeks she has been having a blast. We are still working on potty training and most days are about 50%. She likes her big girl panties and even more she likes the m& m's Grandma gives her for a reward when she goes potty.
We have also stared wearing big girl pig tails. I know most of you laughed at me a few months ago when we tried them but now they are so cute.
We have been working on colors, numbers, animals, and shapes too. We are a ways away from genius status but she is doing great. We call it Learning time. We even bought flash cards so she can pick them out.
Other then that we are just getting ready for Daddy to come home. We have a little over a week until we will be reunited.
To all of our Louisiana family: we miss everyone so much and hope everyone is doing well.

Cousins are so fun!
This past weekend Sydney got to play with her cousins Maverick and Lainey when they came for a sleep over. It was so much fun playing and sharing toys and all of the kids were very well behaved. Lainey made a princess crown and Maverick drew uncle Nate a Star Wars picture of Yoda and Darth Mal fighting. It was too cute. I also got to wipe the dust off the Wii that has been neglected since I got here.
While they were here we had an unexpected snow day. When it finally stopped snowing we had 5 to 5.5 inches of snow. After we ate breakfast we all went out to play. We made a snowman and a snow bunny and got into a few snowball fights. When we were done we came inside and had coco. Grandpa Brad even made a treasure map and buried treasure for them to go find. All and all it was a great weekend. It is nice to get to play with the kids because we have missed so much while we were in Louisiana. We hope to see you guys again soon.

Happy St. Patricks Day!
We just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy St. Patty's Day! Here are a few pics of Syd getting ready for the day. I have another cute outfit that she has, but that picture will be posted later. If you can't tell these pics were taken before the big hair cut.

Coloring with Mommy
Sydney loves to color, but to be more exact she loves to take the crayons out of the box and then put them back in. This task keeps her busy for a while. The only problem we have found is that when she is moving them around so much they tend to fall off the table and break.
While I was visiting Becca's second grade class one of the students told me about the new twistable crayons. They are covered in an outer shell of hard plastic and you twist it to get more crayon. So far they have been perfect and we have not had any tiny crayon pieces. Thanks to Ms. Oren's Second grade class for the tip, Syd can now color with whole crayons and Mommy doesn't have to pick them out of the dogs mouth any more. :)

Making Brownies with Grandma
Sydney got to help Grandma make brownies. Grandma let her stir all of the ingrediants together. She even stuck her finger in it to see if it was good enough (don't worry she only tried a tiny bit because of the raw eggs). After all of the hard work was done she got to sample it and boy were they delicious. This was a week or so ago, but I have been slacking on the blog.
